TRAINED TO LEAD.
I'm Josslyn Dugenio, a Class of 2028 defensive center back from Somerville, New Jersey, playing for PDA Blue in the ECNL. I organize the back line, win in the air, defend 1v1 in space, and build out of the back under pressure. As a three-year ECNL starter, I've helped PDA Blue qualify for the ECNL National Playoffs in back-to-back seasons and earned Skyland Conference All-Valley Division 1st Team honors as a sophomore.
What separates me is the combination of international experience and all-around athleticism. I was invited to the U17 Philippine Women's National Team in back-to-back years for the Asia Cup Qualifiers and ID Camp, and I've also been selected for the US Soccer Talent Identification Center and the Gotham FC Center of Excellence. As a three-sport varsity letterman and Penn Relays 4x100m qualifier, the recovery speed I bring to center back comes from competing at a high level across multiple sports.
Off the pitch, I carry a 4.0 GPA in an honors and dual enrollment curriculum and will graduate high school with 60 college credits. I'm looking for a D1 program where I can compete immediately, develop as a ball-playing center back, and challenge myself academically. Tenacious, calm, and tactical — always learning, always competing.
